Gartner Magic Quadrant released in 2017 February show that Cloudera is rated highest among the three main Hadoop distributions: Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR. Cloudera is placed in the Challengers quadrant along with Google and HPE while Hortonworks and MapR are much lower in the Niche Players quadrant in regards to Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision
